Nasser Palangi
Bangladeshi artist 'Aafsana Aafroze Khan' obtained her Bachelor's degree in 'Graphic Design' from the 'Faculty of Fine Arts' of 'Dhaka University' in the year 2000. Aafsana is a relentless art practitioner from her childhood. According to her, immersing herself in creating 'art and painting' is just like driving her own vechicle which takes her to the most coveted destination called freedom. She has chosen her unique style of abstract expressions by using subtle colours in her works that keep the viewers eyes lingering. Looking at her paintings it seems as if a 'Poem' is written by her on canvas through colours and textures.
Aafsana's works are being showcased in several art exhibitions both in Bangladesh and abroad. Her works were exhibited quite a few times at the prestigious 'Zainul Gallery' of the department of fine arts in 'Univeristy of Dhaka'. She has had comprehensively contributed many times in the events titled 'Boishakh Utsab' & 'Ekushey February' organized by faculty of fine arts, 'University of Dhaka' where she designed masks, puppets, festoons and decorated the streets with 'Alpona', installing murals etc. The artist played a responsible key role in numerous reputed designing houses & organizations where she worked as a creative director. The artist lives and works in Dhaka.
